Grain Terminal is located in the mouth of the Dnieper river, in the territory of Kherson river port, which is a major southward transport hub of Ukraine with a developed infrastructure. All year round navigation and the absence of hydro-electric station
lock gates of “Dnepr river stream” make it especially attractive for cargo owners.
Grain Terminal general characteristic:
- receives grain cargos concurrently from two rail wagons non released in covered hangar with 2 000 – 2 500 mt/day capacity;
- receives grain cargos from auto transport in covered hangar with 1 500 mt/day (50-55 automobiles) capacity;
- receives and stores grain cargos in nine metal silos of Canadian origin (produced and supplied by “Westeel” company) with total storage capacity 36 000 mt.
- loads grain cargos through the outloading pipe directly into the vessel alongside the berth with 3 000 mt/wwd capacity. For loading in moored position acceptable vessels with draught up to 7,6 m in fresh water.
- loads grain cargos into auto transport and into rail wagons.
All receive/load operations with a grain cargo perform through electronic tensometric scales (railway, automobile, silo).
